Pakiniui Wind Farm, South Point, Hawaii

Dream Green Project Two is to set up a wind farm on the South end of the Big Island of Hawaii with ONE HUNDRED (100) 3.6 MW GE windmills. This would be enough megawatts to run the entire Big Island of Hawaii. During peak wind speeds and when demand is low for electricity this wind farm could also produce hydrogen through electolosis to store for times when winds are not optimal and use the stored hydrogen to produce electricity when winds die down. Hydrogen could also be used for other purposes. Windfarm and hydrogen plant would produce employment for the Ka'u District on the Big Island which is sorely needed. There is plenty of land on the south end of the Big Island that could be used for a large wind farm. Getting the permission of the land owners, permits and funding for this project will take a huge amount of cooperation and work. Or this wind farm could be placed offshore at Southpoint. This project will take millions of dollars and commitment from Big Island residents and changing our attitude upon dependence on fossil fuels for transportation, electricity and energy needs with a determined interest in using renewable energy based on a clean carbon footprint. Hawaii should take the lead in showing the world how a community of people can work together to demonstrate a clean spot on the planet. The advantage of using wind to produce hydrogen is that generators using the hydrogen to make electricity could keep a constant flow of steady electricity available even during times when the wind abates or when wind is intermittent. A powerful electrical generating combination of wind/hydrogen could keep the flow of electricity for the Big Island. Dream Green
